CPM is an advertising term and stands for “Cost Per Mille.” Mille is a French word for thousand, so CPM literally means “Cost Per Thousand” in reference to banner views. For example, if you have a CPM of $1.00, that means it costs you $1 to have your banner displayed 1,000 times.
