Buy a good damper, crank it up and don't worry about it anymore. A lot of different things can contribute to a tank slapper but if you have the right equipment, you'll be fine. I've always gone with the more gas reaction anytime I'm in trouble (like my sig says), it doesn't always work though. As for the guy whining about speed on the streets... Go preach at church..

im pretty sure putting my feet down was the only thing that kept me from coming off the bike. i wasnt just dragging them, i was using my feet to keep my body up on the bike.

i rode this bike back when the previous owner had it and it did have a damper on it back then, it has been at the top of my list of things to buy but limited funds and the usual shit has kept me from buying all the stuff i need for it.

i've had a couple of these on my 929 when it had clipons....once i tried the give it more gas theory, which made it worse.

i keep super light and super loose on the bike and try to help stabilize it, but really its just a crap shoot and you get lucky. i've had 3 serious ones....im not a fan at all!
