I also use the "two big screwdriver" method, but might give this a shot next time. How do you guys break the bead on the old tire? I, personally, run over it with my van.

I use two pieces of wood (makeshift lever) and the rear bumper of my van for the rear tire, and for a front tire I just use a big c-clamp.

I break beads with a 8ft 2x4, with a 8" piece about 18" from the end. Then like awkward said I use a car to hold the end down and with the 8ft lever I have TONS of power.

^Yeah, a couple buddies do the same. I just stated using the "run over the tire" method because I didn't have any 2x4s laying around and needed a tire changed. Lol. It was easy, convenient, and effective, so I stuck with it.
