Something about the camerawork takes away from the violence of a truck with that much power.

its only runnin an 8.19 in the 1/8th. no matter what it never looks fast at the track compared to driving it around town.

hopefully it will be in the 7's soon and look as fast as it is

ok so he did alot of weight savings (about 600 lbs) and threw in a 3800 stall converter to get him up in the boost.

off the trailer it ran a 7.56 and got a best of 7.32. i think all of us that were with him was deff not expecting that being as he was running a 8.20 at the beginning of this season. this thing will be mental once he installs the new injectors, cam, valvesprings, ups the boost to about 20psi and gets everything tuned. attached is a vid of two runs one being the 7.32 run. i know yall dont get into cages that much but this is an all junkyard build. stock truck motor with a turbo bolted on it, backed by a oldschool turbo 350 and runnin a ford explorer 8.8 rear end. no big money backin and done on a tow truck drivers salary...

i hate 1/8 mile. It's almost no fun. All the tracks around us have been cutting the strip back and making new stupid rules. THAT is the reason my dad and i are getting rid of the drag cars and going autox

This video makes me want to do another 383 s10. After my buddies boosted rb20 ford ranger is done...

its gettin cheaper and cheaper just to do an ls, and parts are gettin more available in junkyards. 300hp off the bat in a 5.3 truck motor then add a turbo onto a stock engine and your at 500hp easy.

stud the bottom end and the heads, add a twin turbo setup and your over 1000hp reliably. hotrod did 60 some odd passes with the twin turbo setup
