Franken bike was a project that i thought would be some great fun, and regardless of the outcome of this competition, my jacket size is Large, and my name is Jason! Good luck to all of you and heres my project Frankenbike..


Start with... Crashed 1999 Yamaha R6.. value... unknown.. 6000 bike with over 6000 damage.. you call judges..

parts bought....

headlight........................................ 100 bucks
taillight .. ....................................... 30 bucks.. i love ebay
handle bars .................................... 130 bucks
paint for the tail............................... 10 bucks
break line ....................................... 120 bucks
custom etched panels and license plate.. free
new forks and front wheel ...................400 bucks
sheet of steel....................................20 bucks
signals.. 30 bucks
canadian tire bicycle mirror.. 8 bucks

total parts tally......948 bucks... wow i planned under 1 g and it worked!!!!!!

Chopped tail
integrated tail light
custom license plate
customfighters.com frame inserts
chopped lower fairings
Renthal fatbars in a drilled triple clamp
Acerbis Cyclops headlight
Shorts stalk signals
Flamming fender
Blue braided steel brake lines
custom gauge mount

Deff the coolest R6 ever, I always like the bob tails and might consider getting rid of the wife so I could build one but for now I'll drool over yours! Your tail, not your wife....... that's the tail on your bike..

Thanks guys, i couldnt even start to figure out how many hours i put into it, that tail was a bitch to get right. But hey, even if i dont win... she is up and running and rides nice. Thats all i really wanted anyway, this is just a nice way to show it off!!
