You should edit your first post to put all of these dimensions in a single place and possibly break it up by manufacturer and maybe even sort it by cc so it is easier to find things in the list when it gets really big. This is well on it's way to becoming a sticky.
I looked and wasn't able to find a sticky on this. There was a thread for SSSA's but not for standard DSSA's. If I'm wrong, please point me in the right direction amigo!
It is always easier to fit a narrower swing arm on a wider space, and fill the gaps as needed with spacers... It also provides you with the opportunity to move the swing arm side to side a little in order to get the rear wheel in alignment with the center line of the bike...
