Hey all,

I have been on the forum for a little while now just been cruising the threads getting ideas and info. I started taring down my $500 96 Katana a week ago going slow deciding what im gonna do with her. Im so freaking in love with it already its a very good bike im glad the 18 year old i got it from did not know what he had, he screwed up enough parts that its going to take me a while but its just a toy so im gonna take my sweet time and make it right the first time. I have seen a few Katanas on here and on katriders.com done close to what i want but mines going to be a fighter cafe type deal with some older stuff modernized ive got a few sketches down i hope to be putting on some photos of progress with in the next few months. Ive already got parts from a junk yard that im playing with. glad to be aboard this forum some of you guys are doing some crazy stuff. I used to ride a harley street bob but it got boring and before that i went through a kawasaki vulcan, and a honda shadow. just not fun enough for my speed sickened mind. I had a 86 kawasaki ninja (gpz actually) i built into a street fighter,before i knew what a street fighter was, after i got out of the Navy but I never got licensed that sucker was fun i dont know why it took me 15 years to get another sports bike. anyway glad to be back in the zone hope to get answers and ideas along the road from all of you.

I was thinking about doing a tail-chop like that on my kat, but im afraid that will be too much. looks good, so it's a toughie for me......
