2008 Streetfighter Buildoff Update

ShineJah's 1998 VTR1000F - Phoenix - aka the fire chicken

ShineJahs 98 VTR1000F...has come a long way already. He started with a firedamaged bike and did a LOT of cleaning to make it even workable. The bike was disgusting. Once it was cleaned he got a new wiring harness and switches in there and cleaned the carbs and got her started up. Next item was the exhaust....in his own words "I had this great Idea. You know when a cartoon character puts his finger in the end of his attackers gun, and when the trigger is pulled the gun bursts. yeah , that was my great idea." This really came out cool and is a great original idea, he soon after decided to make his own baffles because it was just TOO loud. Money constraints have halted progress as of now, but keep your eyes on this one.

Rassie's SV650 SVeetfighter project.

Rassie's Sv650 project was off to a great start even before the build off. He had powdercoating done, a GSXR 1000 front end swap, as well as rear shock. Trimmed stock fairings. Custom battery box. Modded seat etc. Since has cut down his m4 exhaust...way down. Custom gauge mount etc. He has since modded all the stock fairings to his liking doing a good amount of glass work. Then constructed his own paint booth and took to spraying up the bike. . . Very tastefully! at this point his SVeetfighter is essentially done and looking sick!

ThaSick1's 1986 FZ750 Genesis "BBBB" (BlackBitchBoyBike)

ThaSick1's 86 Fz750 gas tank has been stripped of which he has this to say "NOTE TO OTHERS: Automotive paint stripper is not meant for human skin. It's highly corrosive and burns like hell!" He also got new handlebars. More to come.

JessePryor's 1995 ZX6E - "project: unnamed"

JessePryor's 96 Zx6E has been slowed from the winter cold from what I can tell. He chopped his subframe and got a GSXR sub welded up so he could mount his GSXR 1k tail on there. Now that it's warming up I think we can expect to see some updates.
