Two240's 01 Gsxr600 had been stripped and powdercoated (a beautiful blue) before he entered. He then painted up his motor then mounted it up in the sexy frame and set up so he could start it. He was very relieved to find out that the motor ran with no problems. Started buttoning everything together and working on details. Shortened the wiring harness, mounted his headlight, chopped his fender. Then he got in a new tailsection he ordered from MGM-bikes.de and welded up his own subframe to fit it. Also boxed it in with sheet metal so he could mount the electronics. Made his own seat. Got the bodywork painted a nice shiny gloss black. Bikes gonna be a bruiser with that black and blue scheme!
Angrish420's 04 600RR is a smoking build. His 420 seedless theme makes it clear this is a 'streetburner'. He started with his stunter all stripped down and cleaned it up. Painted the bodywork and decal'd it up. He is building a stunt fighter, so his mods are purposely geared towards that. engine and sub-cages. hand brake. dented/melted plastic tank cover. straight clipons. and tank mounted gagues. also handguards help it look tough....not sure he's finished with his headlight yet but he's damn near done!
DougZ's 01 Gsxr600 is undergoing a lot of work. He got an ebay motor for $300 and opened her up to make sure all was well within.Then primed up his body parts and did a rough assembly so he could fire the motor. He had to literally splice two wiring harnesses together to get his wiring correct due to his original being split and funked up. Getting that taken care of with TONS of work, while working on many other things. Custom DZC seat cover. Milled up his own front brake resi, custom mount, mounts for his bark buster hand guards and a mount for his after market steering damper. Fit some vortex rear sets on the bike. Installing a DZC clear clutch cover, and installed blinkers IN his hand guards! Great work so far Doug, keep us posted!
Jd's 06 R1 project has come along very nicely. He started with a munged up bike as a result of clipping a deer at 50 mph. Did some replacing of parts..new radiator, and braided radiator hoses with red fittings. Got Freestyle Ingenuity 0 degree clipons. Replaced the broken tail section and painted all the body work. Added a carbon fiber tank cover. Installed some Aztec 8 headlights and a triumph cowling piece. Red and black theme similar to the raven theme...raven streetfighter!
Endo's 89 Gsxr7/11 project has some big plans. He's in the process of fitting his VFR SSS, ohlins rear shock and a 7" enkei car rim on it. However to do this, much machining and many spacers will be needed in order to keep the rim on center. He's got a nicely built 11 motor (1109 actually) with a long list of work into it including a 40 shot nitrous setup and a set of brand new38mm Mikuni flatslides! So he's definately going to be pushing more than 160 hp and 115 ft/lbs of torque! He's got Gsxr750 USD forks on the front with a Buell front rim and perimeter brake setup in the works. Z1000 headlight unit. New tailsection...basically he's going balls to the wall and trying to build this bike complete in one shot within a pretty strenious time frame with all things considered. Endo has always been very thorough with his work so be sure this will be a build done right.
Dudads 92 Gsxr750 project will certainly be built up with imagination. His last creation was definately original. He wants to do a 'floating' subframe with a 600RR race tail section. With his uncanny ability to find the smokingest deals around on fleabay, he'll surely get some good parts for the build..for example a GYTR slipon for under $30. He's currently in the process of getting all the pieces primed and painted up, and things are looking good. He's got some radiator covers that are shaping up to be a nice touch to the bike, and a cool headlight unit as well.
Ammadien's 01 Gsxr600is going into stage two after doing a clean but basic fightering last year of the bike Am's puttin in some more serious work this time around to finish the bike up! With plans to upgrade the front end, do centalized under bike exhaust, new tailsection, headlight, bars, paint and powdercoating, we know this is going to be a great looking fighter once he's through. He's chopped the subframe and re-welded in order to fit the KZ tail he's working with and fitted the front end on and mounted his v-rod headlight for mock up so far. Just painted the frame and wheels and mounted up a new coolant res. bottle. Can't wait to see how the rest of the bike gets sprayed up!
