Custom Fighter's Annual Winter Buildoff is just about here again! This year the buildoff will be extended to a 7 month build period. November 1, 2008 until AB's birthday on May 26, 2009. Last year a lot of people didn't finish, and this year a lot of people are anxious to get started, so we've decided to make it longer per your request!

The Annual Winter Buildoff was started as a friendly competition to help the winter pass by and give them the additional inspiration that is very helpful when your fingertips are freezing as you twist wrenches in a wintery garage. Other people wanted in on the fun so it became a site-wide event. Two  years have passed and some great bikes have been built during the fun. This contest holds high prestige among builders in the fighter community and really shows off some of our great builders which is meaningful to all involved...whats that?? oh shut up Adam, get to the prizes?? Geez arite. Actually there are no prizes this year, aside from Cf sending you some shirts and featuring the top bikes in the magazine giving the winner a 2+ page feature article. Okay, okay I'm kidding prizes are up in the air at this point but we will keep you updated as they come in. All site sponsors are being contacted and in previous years Motocyco has donated their sick billet resevoirs and motomadness last year offered the choice for a Craft helmet or set of Pazzo levers. So, I assure you that there will be some goodies coming your way.

Everyone entering must provide a pic of their bike with a newspaper documenting the date to show the bike's starting point. You do not have to start on the actual date of  Nov 1, but you must start AFTER that date. Builders will document their builds with their own build threads and build discussion threads, providing photos and insight into each build. By May 26, 2009 you must post your final update showing the final build status, documenting the list of mods and listing the total build cost. All bikes must be finshed and complete by this date in order to be judged by a panel of fighterers, including builders, shop owners, enthusiasts and other fighter experts!

We want to see some innovation  here folks, this isn't a bolt on bank account draining exercise. This is fightering! Do work! Everyone should enter if it's your first time or if your an expert builder this is a competition for everyone!!!
