The 1190r runs a 21 inch wheel with a narrow profile, the 1190 ( I have ) runs a 19" road width wheel, the 17's of a 990 SD will fit mine but the 1190 has electronic suspension, the R doesn't. he probably make the triple from the standard 1190/1290s or even the front end from an 690smcr work far easier as they all use the 48mm WP front shocks.

There is a bloke in Australia took a 1290 SD, and put the suspension from a 1190 adv R on it for trail riding. Mental build
