Default AC/DC tig or multiprocess machine

budget is $1000 max.
hard time committing to a larger purchase for a machine.
but ik that a $200 harbor freight welder is not a viable option when trying to something of quality.

hence the need for a new machine.
do I buy a legit AC/DC Tig machine like the Lincoln square wave 200amp(220v)

or get a multiprocess welder (Lincoln also makes these)
DC TIG but can use MIG spool gun for aluminum. which

I would like to weld stainless and aluminum. I have a larger fancy project I plan on this coming year.
turbo piping...frame. steering rack mods etc.

what is an idiot to do?

turbo piping is awfully thin for a spool gun

if space isn't too tight, it might be cheaper to find an AC/DC TIG and then a MIG as 2 separate machines. there are lots of good used MIGs out there, same with AC/DC TIG.

A steering damper dampens steering oscillations. If it starts to leak, it may become a steering dampener. There's no such thing as a dampner.

Look into the Eastwood TIG 200 Ac/Dc welder. Right now they’re on sale for $729.99 but they sometimes dip below $700.

as examples near me

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/tls...972476263.html buy that, sell the oxy/fuel setup, you'd be into the MIG $200 at most

then buy a used AC/DC TIG when you find one for the right price
