there's only one gen of SV1000 and the photo in the first post there is a 650 so I question his info

the main problem with swingarm swap is that the rear header runs through the swingarm, which most bikes don't do

I don't have a measurement for you, sorry

A steering damper dampens steering oscillations. If it starts to leak, it may become a steering dampener. There's no such thing as a dampner.

Bikes: naked SV1000 with all the possible bling, WR450SM street legal, 450XCF SM trackbike

It was just under my nose But I didn't saw it
It must be 235

What I have in mind is to swap it with a haypermotard sssa

It have plenty room for the exhaust header and it use a shock, with out linkage and dog bones at the one side of it

Since I will make a new subframe for the panigale tail that I already have, I could make the upper mount of the shock there.
The only problem is that the hyper sssa is 250. I could shave it a litle to make it fit. But all those thoghts are just in theory and I can't tell if it's possible.
I have to get one of those in my hands....
