Ah geez, some guys...

Alright, rephrase. If I'm not at the point of swearing then I'm typically just fucking around.

seeing as it has now been through the type approval test and passed with certification, i can start to do things to it that would have caused it to fail!
first was to swap the seats, then i set about shortening the exhaust can and removing the Db killer.

went to work on the can.

then sorted the end piece

put it together for a test fit

then got it on the bike after re riviting it

SHIT HAPPENS!!!!!

Today on the plus side I took it in for MOT , passed with no problem.

so just need the registration application V55/5 to come through from DVLA and hopefully should have a registration sorted very soon.

on the not so positive side, carbs have started to leak through the overflow tubes, might be dirty fuel causing the float needles to stick, but a pain all the same.

engine has also started to stumble, sounds a bit like a miss fire, might be related to the overflowing carbs !!! going to have to play around with it a bit more i think.

SHIT HAPPENS!!!!!

Fucking DVLA!!!!!! ordered some V55/5 forms on line last Sat, Did it on line as i thought it would save time and i would get them fairly quickly, well its now Friday and NO fucking forms FFS, I need the form so i can get my registration application into them as soon as i can, so i dont have to wait till Christmas for a fucking Reg number.

Phoned DVLA this morning and was told it can take up to TEN working days from order too getting the fucking thing, said they would post some more just in case my order had been missed, so pissed off is todays emotion

SHIT HAPPENS!!!!!

First of all great work so far, very clean, especially with the exhaust can, I have seen some hack job shortened can before but you were very clean about it.

Second of all, I know I'm running a completely different bike and carbs but the only time I have had fuel leaking from the overflow tubes was when the float needles were stuck from sitting with old gas too long.

current build is on YouTube, check out my channel The Armed DIYer
