Last Friday arrived a pair of H4 1.5 inch bi-led projector bulbs I've ordered.

Those are smal enough to fit to my headlight. The opening of the cowl is 2 inch at the widest point.
So the 2.5 inch projectors woulden't fit good enough. Βought just a pair to see how good those are.
Those bulbs have low-hi but the hi led works with the existing lens of your headlight. The low lights have a great output

Ordered already an other pair to use it for the hi lights.

Also I've started to build the fuel tank. This is the first time that I've done this procedure.
I don't know with how many liters i will end up with it or even if I make it to finish this tank considering that it's a very complex design for a first-timer but I will give it a go.

Started with this last Friday

Here is my wife helping me to take some pictures of the tank on the bike
I have an other one pic from the front side but imgur doesn't let me to upload any other

And this is what I've managed so far

Done it. Here is the front side

That would be great! The fuel pump from the K3 1000 and my SV 1000 K4 are interchangeable. I'm not very sure but I think K5 and K7 are interchangeable too. Send it and I will check it.

Ok here we go for the version 2 of the tank.
I did some changes to fit the fuel pump

It's a tight fit but it doesn't touch the walls at all

Tuked two tabs to support it to the upper section and two from cardboard for the bottom

After that I thought that I should make some more room for the fuell

I have ordered the fiberglass tank cover and waiting to arrive. It will help me to use all the hidden space under it and make the tank as big as it takes.

Why not just put a bulkhead fitting on the tank and run an external pump? Easier tank design and more fuel capacity.

Hypermotard 1100S the weight-shavening.
Bandit 1200 cafe/fighter that will never get finished at this rate.
Turbo Busa v2 2017 Buildoff.

That's a great idea but would the sv work with an external pump? I've got no idea about

external pumps run hotter, so while a pump is a pump, they are more prone to burning out due to this. In tank is nice and coolio. Also why its not good to run your vehicles low on gas in hot places.

I was under the impression pumps designed for external use used the fuel running through them for cooling ? The old external Bosch 044 I had on my old car lasted years. Say what you want about Germans they make some stout electrics 🙂
