NinjaJohn, thanks for that photo tutorial. It really helps me out since I have an er6n. I'll be changing mine out as soon as I can find a bottle I like and get ome new turn signals on my bike.

I used this bottle I found on ebay for about $20. I liked it because of the flattened shape. Fit really well on my Triumph Daytona.

I did have to cut/reshape the plastic cap that came with it. Easy task with a dremmel.

Thanks for the kind words. It does fit really tight to the engine. And that bottle was already powdercoated black. Here's another angle:

Thank you for the kind words,
  • Bottle came from walmart, lucked out and found nearly the same colour as the bike was.
I had already used automotive grade braided hose covers
Then used simple brass fittings from oreilies for the inlet theres a prong inside the can as well, with a line going down to the bottom with a heavy slash cut on it.
The Clamp was found off the shelf at autozone, its a "spectre" made to hold together intakes on cars, I just tightened the piss out of the clamps.
I then re purposed a fairing mount, with a bit of releiving from the dremel to get it mounted up there.

It works pretty well, even though its vented (bottle had a one way valve on it already) I still occaissionaly have a nightmare about the bottle slowly filling over a long ride the valve failing and the bottle exploding on me going down the highway....

I used a brass fitting like ninja john did. Used steel rings to mount mine.
