split my SV thermostat to check it had a higher rating than the TL

it does

I dont need this pipe

so cut, drill, tap

stainless cap screw and copper washer...... sorted

drilled and tapped for the locking screw on the damper mount, i adjusted the damper to full ... won,t do that again until i finish welding and bracing the frame post

finished building up and smoothing rear guard buck, drilled mounting holes in it too. Holes... no hidden fastening? no... I don,t build trailer queens, this is a working bike, i can use the mounting holes to attach a rack for longer trips ,it will be going to IoM

buck sitting covered in gel coat just now,

butchered the shit out of the left hand inner panel

makes the area much neater

just need to find a right hand one now

made a spacer for the clutch actuator .... i say made... i parted off a bit of ally tube

check the fit

I will be making an overly engineered cover for it soon

popped the buck from the rear guard mould, its waxed up , but waiting for numberboard bits before moulding

tidied up the front guard mount at lunch time

swapped out the thermostat housings, SV one has its inlet pointing in a better direction, but my engine mounts foul the stock hose
