I looked on Racetech and they had ZERO info, however, the later Gsxr1100W’s have 8.5kg/mm springs. The Bandit and the Gsxr have a very similar linkage setup so I would think that should at least get you in the ballpark.

Issue I'm having is finding the right springrate for my Hyosung. No one knows the stock spring rate for the GT650R, but the Bandit 1200 shock has been touted as being a straight swap and upgrade. If the B12 and GSXR1100 have similar setups then that should put the Hyosung needing the 9kg area. I just dropped in a K5 GSXR1000 shock and if my reading is accurate it has an 8.1kg spring. Would 1kg/mm really make that big a difference? The K5 shock on the GTR is super soft.

Default Anyone know the stock spring rate for 2nd gen Bandit 1200 shocks?

1kg/mm = 56lb/in

Seems like a lot but really 3.5lbs to compress the spring 1/16”.

I looked at your thread but can’t remember; are you using the exact same geometry as the Hyosung with your swap?
