2nd up.

I'll have a go then...............

One from the UK.

Now how many cbr1000rr streetfighters do you see????

The bits I can remember;

A few years of modifications here, so this is off the top of my head…

Full carbon bodywork (tank, tail, mudguard, hugger, all trims and guards, fuggin love the stuff).
PIAA headlights in aluminum nose cone. LED Rear strip lights with hidden indictors just under the rear end. Lights flash for brake.
Modified subframe with carbon RC211V rear end.
Ohlins shock, Ohlins forks and steering damper.
RSVR OZ forged wheels with custom spacers, billet sprocket carrier and brake hanger.
Brembo Mono-block callipers
Full Akrapovic exhaust system with Leo-Vince can as the end looked better than the Akro' one.
Moto-gadget speedometer mounted at the front of the tank, M-unit and hidden key-less G-lock. Rev-lights mounted around the top of the nose cone.
Billet top yoke with renthal drag bars. Oberon mirrors and very dirty renthal soft grips.
STM slipper clutch with windowed cover (that was a right pain the arse to do and keep it slim).
Carbon filler cap.
PC3 with 2007 injectors and air-box. Heavily internally modified air-box with PAIR system removed.
TenKate bell mouths, HRC cams.
Gilles rear sets with MTM reservoir. Gilles rear wheel adjusters and lifters.
ISR master cylinders
Carbon braided lines.
Mesh sprocket cover with Renthal sprockets 1 down front 2 up rear.
Well fucked tyres.
Much messing about with the electics to clean it all up and get it all working in the way I wanted.
And other bits and bobs that you don’t see straight away and that I can’t think of at the moment…….

It's been a few years evolving and being riden at the same time so must have missed a few bits.

It's not on here for votes, but votes would be nice. Its really on here because Im proud of what I've done off my own back with all the ups and downs that come with building bikes. Thanks to my wife for putting up with me and the nights spent on the bike rather than her. By the way....... this is proof that we didn't need a new hoover and I NEEDED the rear shock.

Voting picture please.....

Just finished my 2001 Bandit 1200. Front fender is not mounted yet but I like how it looks without. I did everything myself except tig welding the stainless mid pipe and the black powdercoating, most of everything was done in my basement or in the backyard. Total cost under 3 grand and still have some parts to sell.

Mods:

Stage 2 jet kit with K&N and chopped airbox, PAIR delete
Custom Slip On - modified 636 mid pipe and Cone Engineering reverse cone megaphone
Bluebox LCD gauge cluster
MikeXS clubman bars with bar end mirrors
Windscreen cut from a 636 windshield, bead blasted around Skully
Buell headlight with custom machined headlight mounts
Harley fork gaiters
Trimmed and repainted 900rr Front Fender
Monster seat trimmed to suit and wrapped in CF pattern vinyl
Rear frame chopped and re-done using Moose tapered steel handlebar
Monster tail light, factory undertail trimmed to match new frame, Monster seat latch
Modded side covers and chain guard

Default Re: August FOTM entry thread.

This is my 1993 Honda CBR900RR Fireblade. My first street bike/ race replica/ street fighter. All in 1 package.

Mods List

-VFR800 SSSA Conversion, Lots of machining and custom work to make it mount properly
-18" Car Rim with a 240/70r18 Dunlop Tire

-Bowen Upholstery seats covered in carbon and liquid silver vinyl with red piping
-Erion Racing exhaust, shorty can and upswept mid pipe
-Billet Manual CCT anodized red
-Wave style rotors of unknown origin
-Galfer dual braided brake lines
-Kawasaki risers mounting Moose racing handlebars to a stock (drilled) CBR triple clamp finished with superbike gel grips from progrip
-Electronics sorted, if you know 900's you know what that means
-Chopped down gauges. Just the tachometer and temp gauge remain
-Mini speedometer, Started at 0 miles for Ratfighter, I got it with 699, its now up to 900 miles (Bikes only been working since Friday)
-EBC HH pads
-Tapered head stock bearings, new wheel bearings, everything in between has been cleaned in the process of the build
-7" round headlight from a Suzuki. Mounted with vintage era motorcycle engine mounts and custom clamps with mini turn signals
-Wiring chopped and routed under the tank, all unnecessary electronics relocated centrally on the bike
-CBR600F3 right side control housing and throttle, much cleaner and modern
-Coolant reservoir relocated under the bodywork
-Barnett HD clutch springs to hook up under the abuse of wheelies and full throttle launches even though I can't wheelie yet... what a noob!

I got this bike from the almighty Ratfighter as a project. I finished the massive undertaking of putting a VFR800 swingarm on a first gen fireblade. To my knowledge, this is the first time its been done. At the very least its the first time its been done to this level of perfection...

I Hijacked his build thread, look near the end for the latest juicy bits of info.

I would like my first pic here to be used for the "voting" picture.
