To me a streetfighter is a sport bike that was at one point crashed, dropped, or neglected to the point the plastics and stuff weren't worth replacing. At that point the customization starts, could be a simple headlight, and plastic removal, it can also be much more, but a factory streetfighter to me is not a real streetfighter.
I would say 90% of streetfighters are sport bikes that were crashed, and it was far cheaper to make them functional with mods than to buy replacement parts. That's a streetfighter. How you want to customize it and classify it is up to you.
It's so much nicer to start a street fighter on a bike with single digit miles... then you don't have to worry about damaged parts...
So, no. That's not what a street fighter is.
