Default zx10r forks to zx6r stem problems

so i have a 95 zx6r and im swapping some 07 zx10r forks on to it, i have everything ready to go the problem now is the stem. I cant just swap over my stem into the 10r stem since the bottom ID is 5mm different (10r is 35mm mine is 30mm) i do have a zx6r J stem which would be perfect since it shares the top ID of my zx6r bearing (25mm) and the bottom of ID of the 10r bearing. of course a spacer is required for the top if i do the J stem. But swapping the J stem is now a problem since its about an inch too long as seen below. Any ideas on what to do? get some one to thread the stem down more? im not too sure

either thread it down further and cut an inch off the top or cut an inch out of the middle of the stem and weld it back together.

Have you looked at the All Balls Racing site to see if you can get another lower bearing to fit the 10r triples into the zx6 neck?

What's the diameter of the 10r stem at the top....and what's the OD of the ZX6 frame. That's the bearing size you need to look for.

If you're after this bearing ^^^^ it's a common size - all the Suzuki GS's use it as a top bearing (as well as a bunch of other bikes).

What am I missing??
