damnit, you beat me to it

A steering damper dampens steering oscillations. If it starts to leak, it may become a steering dampener. There's no such thing as a dampner.

Yep.

Sebastian mentioned it, and I've been looking at all options.

First choice atm is an internal run, but I don't like the idea of drilling holes in the 1.5 inch tubing. Also some functional issues to work out.

The most difficult part of this project is that the bike is about 3,000 miles away from the custom swingarm.

Been working on brake line ideas again.

I only have the R6 arm to use for mockup.

Line will run basically like this. Will try to keep it close to the tubing.

Line will run to the inside of the swingarm, not outside.

Brake line will run directly under the aluminum tubing and move to the inside of the arm forward of the tire.

Would like to put a dry break in this location. Need dimensions of the dry break & fittings, and need to figure out the best size to use.

Will also need 1 or 2 brackets for brake line anchors.

Looking at hydraulic dry break connectors.

One of the choices is bore size. Looks like the smallest size is 3mm bore.

Searched, but didn't find info on brake line bore sizes.

Grabbed a brake line and eyeballed the banjo bore size. Looks like 2mm, or less. Based on that, I'm guessing the 3mm bore dry break connector will work fine.

Any opinions?
