Engine is in!

With fresh powder coated flywheel and clutch covers
and a clean, degreased engine

Got risers from a BMW R9 but it wasn't a straight fit.
Drilled an made new threads to fit to my yoke

And now I have a roller!

Done some work the last days.
Glued the headlight protectors to the cowl

I received a rear fender of a R6. Chopped and fited. Needs more trimming

Also received a silicone hose kit
I wish I had it a week earlier
It would be much more easy to fit it with the engine off the frame

Then I tryed to make the mounts for the cowl
That needs some more work. Pics later

A sheet of heat shield will keep the fuel a litle more cooler

The electric components are in place
I've bought some connectors for the tip over sensor, starter relay solenoid and the ecu to make an extension of the harness
Haven't do that yet
At the upper right of the picture you can see the tank breather I will use

I had a plan to fit the ecu here

But the male conector isn't waterproof
I could solder the wires one by one and then seal it with epoxy glue
I will try to avoid that if I can fit it somewere ealse

That's how she is siting right now

I'm thinking leave the subframe and tank like that or buy some kydex sheet and fit it under the subframe to hide the tank. Does anyone know if the kydex sheet can be paint?

Harness extention for tip over sensor and starter relay solenoid done

Heat shield wrap on header done

Rear fender trimming done

The mailman brought those footpegs today

It's not too big... But, I could use it for frame sliders if I want

I might trim it later a bit...

I like the view of the fuel tank through the subframe.

Looks cool.

I like it too! I hate the idea of all that dirt that will end up in there...
I might put a sheet under the tail and leave it like that

lights are in. Wrapped the mounts of the led converters with self vulcanized tape to add some grip.
I need the eagle eye leds for the indicators and an H4 adapter to finish the forth light. The other 3 bulbs are ready

Tail lights are ready. I only need the connectors for the indicators

Everything looks good! Now I need a battery, the air filter and some fresh oil to fire it up!
