Great. Now I have to decide between black, which is the color I want but doesnt stay black or Titanium which is the easiest to apply and stays titanium but its not black..dammit!!

Can anyone provide a ballpark the amount needed for a i4, single, and a twin?

Total inches of pipe * pipe diameter in inches * 3.14 = pipe surface area in square inches

Total inches of wrap * (wrap width -overlap) = wrap coverage in square inches

pipe surface area in square inches / (wrap width - wrap overlap) = Total inches of wrap required

Example:

My xj750 has 1.75" od pipes. I want to wrap 30 inches on each one using 2" wide wrap, assuming a 1" overlap (.5" on each side). How much do I need?

30x4(pipes)*1.75*3.14/(2-1) = 659 inches of wrap, which is a bit over 50 feet. I'll gamble on a 50 foot kit.

I'd expect 50 foot will do any i4 unless you want to go past the collector(s) or have really fat pipes, and 25 foot will easily do a single. Twins come in massively different pipe diameters depending on style and displacement, could range form 25 to 50.

Not sure if it's been said but assuming your removing the pipes don't forget new gaskets .... Their typically crush washers so no jewing on this one and they shouldn't be re used

as a further tip, for a nice tight wrap....... cut it long, and tie one end to a door handle or something in your garage. that'll give you the ability to pull on it with the header...... of course, the more cylinders, the harder it is to keep that spagetti straight........
