Default Suggest a muffler, please

Going on an air-cooled 750cc Kawasaki ZR7. Exhaust diameter is 60mm OD...I'd prefer not choke it down. I want something short and like the look of those reverse cone "GP" style mufflers. I would prefer spend less than $100.

Suggestions?

Check into danmoto exhausts, I had one on the R6 and for the money they are a really nice pipe.

For less than $100 bucks, you're pretty much stuck with Dime City Cycles stuff or used, stock mufflers on fleabay. If you open your price range up to under $200, you've got a lot more options. I saw danmoto mentioned, You can pick up a single can GP exhaust for about $150. Their mufflers are universal, but come with an up-pipe or an elbow in some cases...so, ya know, bonus parts.

Spending a little more won't kill me and I do like Danmoto (ran one of their "GP" pipes on my GSXR1K and loved it)...but my biggest problem is sizing. It seems having a near 2.5" OD secondary is a little out of the ordinary. My GSXR didn't have that much plumbing. I'm going to cut it later today and see if maybe it's double-walled or something. If it's actually a smaller pipe on the inside that's what'll really open up my options.

Go with a 2.5" sized exhaust tube straight & add a drag bike baffle to the inside.

That way you could cut the end any way you like, have it as long or as short as you like & chromed or ceramic coated.

I've got a DanMoto on my ZR550 that was meant for a ZX636. The stock muffler/header was double walled, and happened to be the same diameter on the inside as the DanMoto mid pipe.

You can see where the two are welded together how much bigger in diameter the stock pipe is after the collector:
