Yea a stepped yoke would seem the simplest way to do it but pretty costly, only one I can find is from cognitomoto, was about $900 aud with risers in black delivered, I think, and Iíll double check that I can drop the forks the 40mm or so through the bottom clamps and still be within the correct clamp area of the fork before it tapers down - after all thatís where itís roughly sitting in the mocked up pictures.

I cut it twice and itís still too short

Not much going on at the moment, most of the fabrication is done, need to buy a top yoke and some other parts, possibly not a family priority during these times.
Anyway Iím still at work, so managed to knock up some 2mm caliper spacers, the original locating dowel is 7mm long so I thought it best to make a new one with a 2mm spacer built in, now the overall length is 9mm, so the insertion depth is the same.

No bolts yet, something Iíll just get from Suzuki probably, canít really be arsed paying for titanium ones...

I cut it twice and itís still too short

I appreciate built, not bought.

Most of my bikes have zero Ti.

Hope you can keep building, Mick.

Good inspiration for all of us.

While Iíve slowed up a little itís good to try and get some little jobs started or learn skills, last night after watching a YouTube tutorial I cut about 20, 9 degree pie cuts and 4, 4.5/0 degree cuts for the ends, 100mm Centerline radius.

2Ē 316 stainless tube

I cut it twice and itís still too short
