Just looking at the subframe mountings. Sure you've got a plan but wondered, Is it legit to countersink the subframe bolts?
Or how about low head cap screws? You can always turn down normal Allen bolts, but I like em as the Allen fitting is a size smaller, which looks nice n neat. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/201260520731
Yan, see if you can get yer paws on a Shorai LFX14A2-BS12 over there.
Old pic from the original build thread, but here's the tail going on the Bandit... guessing it's got about as much room as yours. I brought it in to the local parts shop and we went through all the boxes of batteries until we found one that fit nicely and that was the model I ended up with.
cheers Mac, as for the electrics, i'll glass up the tail, make the tank buck and take it from there , there is a void behind the headstock, some space in the tail ..... will take a bit of work I think
The one I got for the Busa is a bit bigger, this one is for the Bandit. Only reason I didn't get the same one for the Busa is I had room for bigger, but I expect it would turn it over just fine.
I don't have it on hand to measure, but it's palm sized. I'd guess around 110x50x80.
For the record I loaned it to a buddy for his R1, and it's had no trouble turning that engine for a coupe months now.
I was considering using an SV tail light as well, I'm interested to see how it looks on yours.
I'm finding it hard to find a tail light I actually like amongst all the eBay tat!
Appreciate the offer but it wouldn't work with the shape of the tail I figured out today. I still need to message you about some machining stuff actually, if you're not too busy? I need a few bits made I can't do at work (or at all )
