Any ideas for updating the list? Since about everything on it seems to be over 10 yrs old. I'm trying to find a list of bikes with a 25mm front axle, and I know there's more. The Honda CBR1000RR 04-10, CBR929RR 00-01, CBR954RR 02-03 all have a 25mm front axle. And all HD's after I think '07 or '08 run 25mm axles. Ducati ST4 and others...

Trying to read that axle list made my eyes cross. So I did some sorting.

Then the BS jumped out at me. Lot of duplicates with conflicting Right vs Left. And some according to parts fiche aren't stepped at all (CB550, etc).

Don't know WTF difference it makes right or left (yes-no), but there it is .

Ain't perfect, but at least I can read it now... errors included!

What would make the steering stem size list even better? If it listed the fucking length... You can get all the bearing sizes from the All Balls Racing site. So I found out the hard way that my 07 GSX-R600 front end won't fit on my 87 Ninja because the stems are two different lengths. (probably could have figgered it out if I used my brain) So now I'm using the Ninja stem in the GSXR lower triple after making a bushing for it. Also another bushing for the top triple.

You guys hit the nail on the head. I have no better suggestion than to either buy stems cheap on ebay to figure it out, or to try to figure out what will swap with what by leap frogging from model to model. Alot of forums will list what parts will swap from one bike to another, but rarely will you get from the part you want to the bike you want.

Last option for trying to figure out fork spacing and offset is to get a good picture and compare a known dimension (usually fork clamp diameter) to other dimensions. I've successfully figured out spacing and offset by using this technique coupled with a parametric modeling program (Pro/E, Solidworks).

This sounds crazy and probably is, but I'll take a tape measure with me when going on group rides and measure other peoples bikes if I want to use a swingarm or head tube lengths, etc
