and BOOM.... in bits again

new bearing ordered for arm, i,d destroy the other getting it out of the new tube , going back in the jig to get bottom shock mount on , finish welding and get it as a roller

this tube had to be cut to clear the throttle bodies, but i,m keeping the tabs incase they are needed.

No need for them to look rough tho

braced the shit out of the raised shock mount , still to cut a piece to link it to the tube behind it

if it looks off centre in the picture , that,s cos its off centre in real life....by design

the underside seemed like an ideal place to shed a few grams

trim the front to match the profile of the arm better

pop a couple pockets right through it

ready for glue

front wheel spacers machined up this morning

bottom of bottom yoke sits lower than I want, but can,t skim it or the logo goes.... pocket the top by 6mm letting it move up

I have a cunning plan with the muddie i,ll be making too

had this drawn up for ages, 2 min job too, got round to cutting it out today

it fits inside the muddie

working on a loose front end is a pain in the hoop....if its not rolling away its falling over

on the upside, galfers are on, wheel is spaced, calipers fit, mudguard mounts done (carbon guard not made yet),risers skimmed to clamp bars ..

my arm has 25mm slots, the wheel 28mm hole, so i turned up a couple of temporary reducing spacers

hands getting dirty now

still need a 25mm spindle, but the wheel will be ready for it

shock mount tacked on , will fully weld tomorrow
