If you find something or figure out how to make something work let me know. I'd like to put some sliders on the KTM too.

Got the skid plate done. Pics soon.

Working on the new tail light and rear turn signals. Got them installed, but when I tested them - NO BRAKE LIGHT!!

Looks like i wired it correctly. Tail light and rear signals work.

I switched back to the OEM tail light and signals - AND NO BRAKE LIGHT!!!

Checked the fuses - all OK.

Need to check the schematic and try to figure out what it could be. Couldn't find my circuit tester - so I may have to buy another one tomorrow.

Rode the bike in to work anyway.

The signals match the tail light pretty well.

Not done, yet. Still working on installation.

Tail light and rear turn signals aren't done - but I fixed the brake light problem.

Found out some of these bikes have front brake light switch probems - and also grounding issues with the front brake clamp, specifically when using Pro-Taper bars (which I am using). The grounding issue causes electric shocks to the rider's hand through the lever(s).

I cleaned and adjusted the front and rear brake switches, which solved my problem. Didn't need to sand down the handlebar under the front brake clamp, and haven't felt any shocks with my bike.

Still have to make custom brackets to mount the front signals. All the signals need resistors because I switched from standard bulbs and the LED signals blink too fast.

Not really happy to lose the running lights. The OEM signals are always on, then blink when the switch is on. The new signals are off when the switch is off. I ride at least 5 nights a week around midnight, so visability is important. And the bike looks better with them on.

I may have found a kit that will hook up the running lights and also add some cool mods to the tail light. Checking into it.

Also moved the signals down and the tail light up. Still needs more adjusting - and new hardware.

Okay, this is it. A processing board that goes inside the tail light.

Unfortunately, it doesn't add running lights to the turn signals - which is what I want.

The processing board adds some mods to the tail light - but the only mod I would want is the pulsing brake light. (The light pulses brighter for a second when the brake switch is activated.)

Not sure I would spend 100 USD for a pulsing brake light, but we'll see.

Not sure if there's a way to convert the LED turn signals to running lights.
