We have 145 pages of build threads. And I'm lazy.

If you come across a build that is fucking awesome, post a link to it in this thread. Include a pic too pretty please.

This way we can all get more exposure to the bikes being built, and the builders can get more eyes on their projects. :CK187:

I can't find the thread I want to post. The guy had a Honda IIRC. He built practically a whole new frame out of tubing that he bent by hand. He was using a grinder and a hack saw. Using a stick welder in flip flops on a dirt floor shed. He was from a non-english speaking country. The bike was yellow when he got done with it. Totally badass. Anyone know what I'm talking about here? That thread definitely needs to be here, but i can't find it.

BAM! Found it! Seriously though, you GOTTA check this out.

Quoted from the build:

"Hello everyone,
I am new in this forum.
I only have a CBR400 NC23 (engine only) and try to build it into a fighter, I chose to buy a CBR400 engine because spare parts can cannibalize local motorcycle in my country, because in Indonesia motorcycle with 600cc-1000cc engine capacity can not be free of narrow streets and traffic jams are everywhere. and I decided to buy the engine capacity of 400cc, I buy engine at a price of $550 from a broken engine (very expensive bike here).
I build engine from zero and replace the damaged parts as pistons, bearings, etc., until they are normal.
I made a frame with a steel pipe, and install wheel ZX14, Swingarm R1, and Forks Ducati 998."

An example of some of the fab work done there.

I've been thinking how there should be a thread like this for a while! :party-smiley:

Just had a quick skim though my subs. Assuming you're all following the 2014 build-off threads then my other recomendations would be:

This thread is pretty great, loads of love going into the fab:

"and as if by magic, i give you the CB893RR" http://www.customfighters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67274

Bob's bike is about to get blown with input from Motohorho:

"Thorburt & the curse of the butterfly mind" http://www.customfighters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51077

This one is pretty interesting:

"Harris rebuild on Isle Of Harris" http://www.customfighters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59759

Pretty much all the ones mentioned already, i'm already sub'ed to. I'm sure i've got a few more (i'm also aware all the above are all British, don't think i'm biased!) so i'll drop back in when they pop up again. I try to remember to give 5 stars to any threads i really like, i think that's a good marker to do too.
