Seems I'm not the only person who finds this phrase stupid.
Seems I'm not the only person who finds this phrase stupid.
Although that would be hilarious to watch."Built not bought mother fucker!" in there face
So what exactly is a streetfighter?Seems people vote for the pretty one rather than the bike I would call a true streetfighter... Even stating built not bought brings up a crucial debate around here now.
Sums that article up nicely. Now I’ll admit that I’m being pedantic.
As a slur, no. As a marketing slogan that is arguably hypocritical ... well, that's actually pretty much the main and first way I've heard it used. Which pretty much only relates to one vendor and I'd rather not get into crap talking. Suffice to say, I can understand how a persons perception of the impact that phrase and its boosters might be really negative.I don't recall ever hearing the phrase used as a slur against someone else, especially on here, where 99.9999999999999999999% of the bikes aren't stock.
'Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play
And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate (haters gonna hate)
I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
I shake it off, I shake it off
Heart-breakers gonna break, break, break, break, break (mmmm)
And the fakers gonna fake, fake, fake, fake, fake (and fake, and fake, and fake)
Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
I shake it off, I shake it off
Next time someone on here says built not bought, I'm gonna post up:Next bike meet I go to I'm going to ask a few people about what they think of the term.
Agreed.Everyone just needs to build or ride what they like. If people have problems with it then screw them.
