Crack the banjos while under slight pressure, air gets trapped there sometimes. I hate doing that, but sometimes the configuration doesn't leave another choice.

I'd crack the master banjo first, then remove the rear caliper and suspend it so the bleeder is the high point. Roll it around gently to work any air bubbles over to the bleeder. Tap the brake line with a plastic screwdriver end or your bleeder wrench starting at the master and working your way to the caliper, tap on the caliper too. Then do another few pump/bleed cycles on the caliper while it is suspended. Stick a piece of wood/plastic/clean scrap metal etc between the pads to prevent the pistons popping out.

Using that method has solved every troublesome brake bleed job I ever had.

One other thing you'll want to check is the piston sizes in the new vs old rear caliper. If there is a mismatch in piston ratio between caliper and m/cyl piston this can cause a spongy (or very acute) rear brake feel/response.

Did you try to feed the fluids from the bleeding niple? Works every time for me. Push the fluid with a syringe and a thin hose to the niple. 40-50ml should be fine and then bleed the system with the normal way

This pic kinda shows the alternated brush direction. Perforated backplate shines differently than the face. Looks more better in person.

Made some brackets.

Held it up and sharpied the bracket locations.

Welded and riveted.

Some quick spacers.

And then the gauge.

Tadaaa.
Still gotta align it and wire up the light. Plate will sit parallel to the forks.

Also still gotta sort that brake bleed. And scrounge up 2 more Ti fasteners for the rotors. And some for the front calipers +5mm over stock.

Those rivets look like M4 dash 4 or 5's... how far off am I?

ETA: no wet install? Shim check the heads? Locking rings all seated properly?

Thanks guys.

Dunno Seb... took it to the assembly guys and asked for rivets that fit lol. Not my area of competence there.
