646 Sycamore is a NOOB
Default Re: Center stand resting on shock linkage

Not sure if this helps but my 1981 Honda CB750K has a Vance & Hines 4-into-1 exhaust system which came with a "centerstand stop" that mounts via the left passenger footpeg. I don't have the passenger pegs on my bike -- my wife (perhaps wisely) hasn't ridden with me in years -- so the centerstand stop bolts to the footpeg bracket. This seems to work well; of course, it's a street bike: I'm not riding over any curbs or the like.
