Uh huh it's Speed Triple 1050 circa 2011.

The VFR wheel been done to the moon n back, but I actually liked the overall look with it in place (the tail gave it enough of a fresh reboot IMO) - very 'Honda' and the idea was to keep it all as.. 'Honda' as poss. I got these Triumph wheels for next to nothing so it really was a why not situation - I highly doubt the front wheel will be getting used though, too much work involved and I don't want to change the forks - I got a nice pair of race-valved 99 forks and the retro vibe look is where I want to be with the majority of the bike..

I really think you should use the front wheel to match the rear. Would look awesome. Bikes with odd wheels always look a bit funny to me!

Totally hear where you're coming from on that one, but at least it's not a car wheel..
