ok, debating using the prekat 750 motor with carbs, or the 86 gsxr 750 that I do not have carbs for. I have swapped out the boots and the kat carbs will not bolt to gsxt head. Well they bolt, but do not line up. The kat carbs also have a dyno jet kit already in them, but I do not have any additional jets or anything for them. Thoughts?

Also, what year/ bike is this tank from? Looks like a Suzuki GS to me, but I need a gas cap and petcock for it so I've gotta figure that out.

Maybe this will make the decision easier....

Give me some details on that gsxr engine. I'm interested if you're willing to ship it.

i'm not sure on the tank, but the kat carbs should have the same spacing as the gsxr lump. all the zuk oil boilers have the same carb spacing.

He wants details! Lol, lets see, 86 GSXR 750... that's literally all I know about it.
Which ever one I don't use for this is going in my 96 Kat fighter. Unless you HAVE to have it...lol.

Oh the spacing is the same, but the ports in the head are totally different.

Wow , that guy on ebay is smoking crack. I bought a minty fresh NOS one for $10, never had fuel in it. Paint was mint too, was... Then I owned it. Thanks, I thought it looked like one but wasn't sure. That's a big help.
