Tacos can be made with flour tortillas, but my favorite way is a small corn tortilla quickly browned on a hot grill top without butter or oil to help in the tortilla staying together. I also make quesadillas with small corn tortillas on a hot grill top without butter or oil, just leave them on longer.

Flour isn't traditional for central Mexico and south. The hard "taco shell" is an American thing.

We dont really have mexicans here.. Nor their food... Stores have hard shells ornlike 10" tortillas..
