:vshock:Well guys I wrecked this bike back in Sept by hitting a doe doing 50. The bike is mechanically sound, just trashed every bit of plastic and lost a few pieces. I think the person who took the road kill got half the front cowl with the deer.
So I'm game starting with a completely stock 2006 R1:
I've got the front striped down and cleaned up. New radiator, Braided stainless steel radiator hose and red anodized clamps. Down pipes were polished, installed graves smog block off plates. Freestyle O degree claps coming next
Got the front front/wheel and back wheel cleaned up and installed. Fitting the Freestyle clipons of the new headlight and cowl. Also fitting the steering stabilizer not sure if I'll use it or not.
Here I'm fitting the cowling befor paint. Cowl is all sanded ready to shot.
100% complete unlucky for me, lucky for the competition arty-smiley:
