right, if I had a driveway of my own that I could do it in I would. I don't.

A steering damper dampens steering oscillations. If it starts to leak, it may become a steering dampener. There's no such thing as a dampner.

I keep my racebike at her place too. If I piss her off enough I'd have to start paying for a storage unit etc.

grew up in/ with squares around dads other a 73 stepside gona help get that roadworthy soon as well ,

did any of my pictures go through?

trying to find em but ended up doing some rough floor patch and bracing up front
also took some tubes and tied in the rocker boxes more laterally to the floor panels i made
sq tube cross braces (3 per side ) basically under seats front moune , rear mounts and where the floor/firewall turns upardand,
1x2 on the both sides front to back cause the sill/ rocker lip edge was totally gone ,
tec screws then, replaced that with plugwelds around every 2-3 inches to the floors , and brace tubes and rocker boxes
trying to find my pictures

i figure its worth it as a blank slate project ( emission exempt)ga cause it was free (scrapbin)

kinda like a convertible ratrod on 33s v8 an a 4speed, with cheap pleantiful parts parts
wanna do a cage and find some hackable doors and do somthing like lift out side windows with latches

any yes i gave my transmission jack a lift kit lol

Looks a fun build and like you said parts are cheap and plentiful. I can't believe how cheap it was to get mine going. Mostly labor.
I was going to lift mine up because my grandpa was sure it was 4x4. Lol then when I got it it was a 2x4. Oh well I like em low too.

sounds like a 3/4 ton front axle, that's exactly what they were (10B with 8lug shit). the main difference between a K20 and a K30 is the front axle (I'm sure they changed springs etc too)

but based on the roof that doesn't look like a '73, it looks like 76-80 (I don't claim to know how to ID which year but roof over driver + vertical markers = 76-80)

I thought it was 73-75 the whole top came off, but it doesn't look like his does

Its a 74- manufacture year
The whole top comes off think
it tipped over with a previous owner so I've got the back shell of a 77+ (free stuff from a friend sitting on it )
And the truck came with the front 2ft of original glass cab shell kinda beat up ends just after doors
Wanna do some way I can bolt them together and seal, for cold weather,
don't know jack about fiberglass
