Default C10 Squarebody

I was loading my bike into my truck, an 83 C10 lowered long bed, and was wondering if anyone else here is into these trucks?
I love this truck because it looks good, cheap to work on, they run forever, and being lowered makes it a dream to actually load/unload stuff.

If you ask for some hot water don't act shocked when you get burned.

I have done everything on the cheap and in my driveway. And have daily driven it with the original motor/trans. It has been a slow process but here are a few pics. The newest one is from about 6 months ago. I still have all 7 leaf springs so I can load it up and use it like it was intended.

I picked up an LS 5.3 locally for $100 bucks and it only has 70,000 miles on it. It will go in once this motor gives up which doesn't seem to be anytime soon lol.

here's my C20

I'd love to LS swap it but don't really have a good place to do so

A steering damper dampens steering oscillations. If it starts to leak, it may become a steering dampener. There's no such thing as a dampner.

My old '78 K20. Built 406SBC with a 4spd and NP205 tcase. 14 bolt rear and Dana 44 front. Lifted 8" and sitting on 37's. Sadly, I think this is the only picture I have left of it, but it had some kickass homemade bumpers on it. She was a thirsty bitch, but I miss that truck.
