Mine is pretty thirsty as well. Not having overdrive doesn't help matters but I figure my 2 motorcycles get 60-75 mpg so it evens out.
I wish mine was 4x4 sometimes especially here in the winters but I love how easy it is to load stuff in my bed.

If you ask for some hot water don't act shocked when you get burned.

I here you. I do all my work on mine either in the driveway or in the street. I think my neighbors hate me. You ever watch roadkill? Do your engine swap in a parking lot lol.

I pulled the engine and did the head gaskets on my Subaru in the driveway...

but I don't even have a good driveway to work in now. I manage to do bike shit at my mom's but she doesn't want the truck sitting in the driveway for weeks (and it's a paving stone driveway too, so cherry pickers suck on it). I've done some work on it there - swapped the rear end - but it isn't exactly a good place, especially if it's gonna be messy work.

A steering damper dampens steering oscillations. If it starts to leak, it may become a steering dampener. There's no such thing as a dampner.

Bikes: naked SV1000 with all the possible bling, WR450SM street legal, 450XCF SM trackbike
