  1. Member Project Bikes
Hey guys! So I am newish to the forum. I posted a while back regarding my previous bike I was building. It was a 2013 CBR250r cafe racer / streetfighter build. Unfortunately, two days after I finished the bike I was involved in a rear end collision which put me out of riding from April until Mid...
  2. Streetfighter Help Needed!
I bought a radiant cycles exhaust (http://www.radiantcycles.com/) cause it was cheap - list $60 shipped, and i love the way it looks, but its basically a header ornament. If its any quieter than running without a can, i can't tell. to be clear - it is unusably loud for my daily ride. Like ear...

Here is my 250 Streetfighter as it currently sits. I am in the process of mounting the original gauge cluster in front of the tank between the tank and the handlebars. Also, I am adding a bracket to mount headlights. Lastly, I still need to refit a new exhaust. Most of that should be done within...

  5. Beginner Streetfighter Questions
I'm having problems finding an exhaust for a 2006 Suzuki GS500 that's shorter than normal (I'm not sure the correct term for it.) Two Brothers has a nice one that I saw in a youtube video, but I can't seem to find anything. Any other brands make a nice exhaust for this bike? Preferably shorter...

  8. Beginner Streetfighter Questions
I own a 01 kawi zx6r, my exhaust canister has a nasty hole in it. It costs about $35 to have a piece of alluminum welded over it. I actually found the OEM exhaust for a 2011 kawi zx10 on ebay selling with shipping for $35. I was wondering if this would hinder the performance on the bike at all...

Stumbled across this thread: http://www.ninja250forum.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=3395.0 Thought this might get a chuckle or two. If it's a repost, then it's your fault for not tagging it because I already did a search for Skippii and nothing came up, so I did my due...

  12. New Member Introductions (For Noobs!)
Hey guys. Just a few exhaust related questions... On my Hornet, there are two bridging pipes on the headers, joining pipes 1 & 2 and 3 & 4. Would it make any difference to the performance if the bridging pipes were taken out? Also, on the '99 model, the pipe is a 4:2:1 - are there catalytic...
  13. Streetfighter Info
Anyone have any info about this process. Some time ago I saw some DIY info on hydroforming exhaust pipes and tubes. Can't seem to dig it up now. I did see a vid that some guy made an expansion pipe for his 2 stroke. Looked like he welded it all up and then hooked up a pressure washer to expand a...
