I originally posted this in the Beginner thread but was recommended to put it here. Basically I have a 2002 zx6r, I rebuilt the carb, and it ran good for about three days until somebody kicked it over and smashed it in a wal mart parking alot....still runs great, cosmetically unsound though...

i picked this bike up a few weeks ago so ive had some time to get a bunch of cool plans going for it. the chassis is a 1992 kawasaki zx6d and the engine is from a 2000 zx6r. im now waiting on getting a welder (hopefully by this weekend!) to make some kickass engine mounts! after that ive got...

heres the deal, ive got a 92 zx6d chassis and a 2000 zx6r engine. has anyone done this swap? i did a mock-up earlier today and found it to be a damn tight fit and none of the mounts line up... im gonna try again tomorrow and see if i can get the bottom mount in. if i can get one lined up...

I'm new to the streetfighter scene and I apologize if this is a repeat thread, but I have the opportunity to get my hands on a 1991 ZX6 for about $1000 and I'm wondering if this would be a good project bike to take on. I have always been a fan of the ninjas so it's something I would like to get...
