02 GSXR 600 engine problems

So I finally got my everything together to where I could start me engine. Turn the key on and fuel pump hums and everything is good to go. Turns over and over and over and nothing happens. So I take the air box off look at everything and it looks good leave the air box off with all of the sensors still plugged in and fires right up runs great no FI lights or anything. Shut her down then an hour later (everything still the same air box off and all) I go to start her up and same thing turns over and over and over. So I switch out fuel pumps with one I know works off of a running bike thinking maybe its my fuel filter and nothing still turns over and over with no give. Like I said no FI lights or anything. When it did start up it ran good revved it up and ran great. Any ideas guys?
