Have a chance to buy 36 mm Mikuni constant-velocity semi-flatslide carbs from 1988 Suzuki GSX-R 750 for $150.

Thinking they could replace the reportedly awful carbs on the SECApocalypse (xj750rh). Those are 34 mm Hitachi's, iirc. What do people think my chances of getting em mounted and tuned are, and how much work would it likely be?

If somebody knew the outside sizes and centers of the engine side, it might help. Also, are they dual or single cable?

They are a good deal at that price. Are they clean? broken? missing parts?

Look around eBay and see what they are going for, perhaps if they don't work out you could clean em up and make a buck.
