I've wanted one of these forever. I got this bike for a pretty good deal on Craigslist. It was mostly disassembled in boxes. Lots of rust, but there are a lot of parts I wasn't planning on putting back on. My plans for this are to push my skills, and try and make parts I've never made before. I will probably be getting one o them Chinese Lifans for the engine. I took the wheels apart and fork apart since they were still on the frame. I'm sending the frame to a CT70 guy to blast and prime the frame. I will be keeping this paint scheme because I love it. Anyway this will be a long slow build, so here is where I am at now.

How to Apply Bike Car HTV LTV Driving License

I have a gentleman offering to sell me a black CT70 - I haven't seen it yet, waiting for photos. I'm going to assume it is a 78' and he claims it has all the turn signals but it is missing the headlight. Anything for that year I should look at closely? If I remember, 78' is the last year for the downtubes/skidplate, spark plug guard and folding handlebars.
