Sounds like you got it all sorted looking forward to seeing how this turns out my dad used to have a similar bike when I was a boy to what you got there. I know you said there's 1 mm difference between swingarms does the wheel align up ok is there any offset at all will you need spacers or anything? I'm was looking to get a sssa for my build but they are few and far between over here I had to get the front end for my build when i was on holiday in Florida I might try and pick up a sssa when I'm back over in April.

Looks smart on ther man! I ain't an expert by any means but if it was me I would i would want that swing arm on and the wheel sitting dead on I wouldn't want even 1mm discrepancy, that's part of the reason I haven't got a sssa a lot of working out for me although I'm an engineer I work a month at sea and then a month at home and the wife and boy are always wanting to do stuff when I'm home so don't get much time to work shit out properly and people who have managed to achieve fitting sssa's often ain't very forth comming with information either because they paid an engineering company to do it or they just don't want to give you information. Anyway I'm sure you will work it out no bother bud.

If there the same o.d they are pretty easy to press out. I done mine I made a steel frame and sat the yokes in it and pressed them out with a hydraulic jack and portapower.

How else would you get the stems outa the yokes to swap them if you don't press them out? :knucks:

Good to hear you got Youre press how many tons it good for? You could always get it knurled that should stop it spinning.

That's a pain in the arse! at least you got the job done thou, did you get the spindle fitted with out spinning?
