A few things you'll need to keep an eye on...
- exhaust & cooler clearance to front wheel & fender
- ground clearance
- chain rubbing swingarm
- chain line vs swingarm position
- sprocket sizing vs chain-to-swingarm clearance
- clip-on clearance to tank
- sturdy shock mounts
The pod filters are only an issue when you use cheap ones... my bike runs like a raped ape with pods.
Where in NY are you? That isn't the Quickcheck in Saugerties, is it?
