Anybody know the diameter and length of the swingarm pivot bolt for a 2008 daytona 675? Google isnt getting me the answer i need (just lots of ads for new, lightweight bolts...). Trying to swap one into my 650r but my stock bolt for the er6 swingarm is way too big. My plan is to use a daytona bolt with bushes to match the frame and then proceed to trim the arm to fit and then make some mounts for the shock. Can any of you trumpet owners help me out?

I might have to look into that, might save me some trouble. I also need to make the swingarm about 4-5mm narrower at the frame to slide in so I have some measuring to do...

Thats sounds like big fun... Hopefully theyll come out without all the trouble but if not Im not opposed to breaking shit to make it better (drop dead fred style). which side did you remove material from? chain or brake side?

posted this in my build thread but ill drop it here too since I had a thread already started.

After several hours of measuring and grinding then sanding I made it fit.



it originally hit the engine case in the front of the swinger like this.



SO you grind it down like this



and now its in the frame... Just gotta figure out the pivot bolt now.
