Bought my bike about a month ago and it's already being torn apart for a build-up / overhaul. It had 26 miles on it when I started tearing it down.

My inspiration is the Ramarro Street Triple:

Parts already removed to go to paint (the front fender is already at the painter to test spray):

One fatal error I did make was that the bolts holding the headlight mount on to the frame sheared off, so in an attempt to drill them out as they are hardened bolts, the drill bit wanted to go in-between the bolt and the frame:

I will further drill out these holes (to about 12mm) and helicoil all four of those bolt holes back to the stock bolt diameter for consistency.

Realized I personally don't own a crescent wrench, needed to hold the nuts on the bottom of the bolts or they'll just spin freely. Off to buy some new tools!

Also ordered a pair of Biltwell Chocolate grips. The seat will be recovered to match:

OEM header and painted heat shield installed

FWIW the crossover tubes on the header make it a massive PITA to wrap, but I still wrapped those too, hence it looks a little clustered around that area.

In an effort to keep the tail section as clean as possible, the rear plate mount / arm thing can be removed and there's only a small spot about 13cm x 13cm that is left exposed under the tail. I'll make a small piece of ABS for that and my tail tidy is finished.

The plate will be mounted down on the swingarm and still trying to decide about the indicator location.

Here's how it sits as of this writing. Many aluminum parts are at the powdercoater being done gloss black and I need to drain and pull the tank to go to the painter.

The headlights are the main focal point seeing that my life revolves around headlights as-is. This is my life right now: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/, so I need to ensure it has a badass setup.

We're looking into custom making machined and anodized aluminum cylinders that will contain OEM Koito LED projectors from a Nissan Rogue. They're the same projectors as the 2014+ Corolla and 2015+ Camry LED projectors just with round lenses.

Right on! I picked up your single moto headlight on Black Friday last year. I guess you are the one to thank for that deal. Too bad it is still sitting in the box waiting for me to finish my bike :D

I remember a very pleasant few weeks when I was shagging a bird who lived up a long gravel road. Travelling that on my Street Trip with road semislicks was great fun! I reckon do it, unless you're only doing it for the look. In which case, go with standard rubber.

It would be just for the look, honestly. In that case, stock tires it is.

I've also been trying to track down some new wheels, but running into a few issues giving people money:

Galespeed - No reply from main vendor
Kineo - No reply from main vendor
Marchesini - No confirmation of fitment, no reply either way
